I see this as i drive down the road.. amazing!
Well the May long weekend here was everything that i had been warned about... busy busy busy..We did record sales and it was flat out with a queue to the door.. it was fun though. So after working for 10 days straight i was so tired.. Joie i needed you to come and cook me dinner! Anyway i just had the last two days off and it was great!
I got up on Saturday morning and went to get my nose pieced. I was on my own but it didn't matter. I had been thinking it through for the past week and decided i should just do it. My eyes watered a stack but it wasn't that painful. Now i love it.
When i got back i was invited to a BBQ with some friends i had met. This was fun until i tripped over and landed on my foot which is now very sore! It's so crazy that i manage to fall and look silly mainly when i am meeting people for the first time. Anyway, I worked on it today and it was fine. So parents do not worry..
So lets do i quick recap.. in 7 weeks of being here i have misplaced my passport, over flowed a toilet, locked myself out of my place, run out of petrol, lost my car keys and hurt my ankle in front of strangers... i think I'm impressive! lol. Can't wait for the next 7 weeks....
The photos of the view are just a couple of places where i am living. I just get overwhelmed by this area! Its so stunning..

ReplyDeleteI reckon you should go and see a GP because you will be covered under your travel insurance. The last thing you'd want is it to heal wrong and be stuck with nagging injury for years after. (family concern over with - but please have it looked at in case there is a fracture or break under that swelling).
Also, nose piecing! Sooo cool babe!

Hi Hon, this is DM. Mazzie idea is a good 'un. Best get checked out if travel insurance covers you. I have a booklet they sent you here; I'll read up on it if you don't have info with you. Cruise is off, we will arrive near beginning of the week of 3 Aug (details to follow) and store cruise up for another time and place. Can hardly wait to SEE you, foot and all. Please no more mini-disasters. The ancient P hearts may not be able to take it from a distance!! Lots of love, Canadian girl. D
